Dr. Daniel Robinson

Optometrist

Dr. Daniel Robinson grew up in Brant County, close to the banks of the Grand River near Glen Morris, ON.He attended high school in Paris, and then went on to the University of Waterloo, graduating with degrees in Honours Science and Optometry in 1996.  After gaining experience in Hamilton working with other optometrists and a retinal surgeon, Dr. Robinson has dedicated his efforts to building a full-scope optometry practice in Brantford.  His interests include all areas of optometric care, but especially the treatment and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye.  Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and three teenage children.  Outside of the office, his time is spent in activities with his church (the Christadelphians) and regular travel to support youth activities in California and mission activities in Central America. Dr. Robinson is one of the presenters of a weekly Bible webinar. Dr. Anne Baczmanski

Optometrist

Dr. Anne Baczmanski studied at the University of Waterloo where she received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 and her Doctor of Optometry in 1997. She completed an externship in ocular disease and therapeutics at the Vitreo-Retinal Foundation, an eye hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  Dr. Baczmanski is part of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the profession’s regulatory body, serving as an assessor for the Quality Assurance Program.  She has also been involved with the Canadian Examiners in Optometry (CEO), where she is an assessor of the clinical skills of the optometrists applying for licensure to practice.  Anne has her own practice in Stratford, ON, but continues to enjoy coming to Brantford to help patients, as she has done since graduation.  She enjoys working with all ages of the population, from babies to the elderly.  Providing a high quality of care to her patients is very important to Anne.

Dr. David Sooklal

Optometrist

Dr. David Sooklal earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University and later obtained his optometric education at Aston University in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He trained in the use of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents at the University of Waterloo, which furthered his scope of practice in the areas of diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular and systemic conditions.  David’s interests include the study and management of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, dry eye therapy, and binocular vision.  Dr. Sooklal is a registered Optometrist in Ontario. He is also a member of the College of Optometrists in both Ontario and the United Kingdom. Prior to practicing in Canada, Dr. Sooklal practiced optometry in the United Kingdom in both high street practice and domiciliary practice.  He is currently an associate Optometrist at Grand River Optometry in Brantford, Ontario where he enjoys providing primary eye care and has found a great deal of satisfaction in providing this care to the community.

Dr. Yasmin Jindani

Optometrist

Dr. Jindani completed her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston. During her studies, she completed externships in paediatrics, specialty contact lens fitting, ocular disease and worked in Veteran’s Affairs hospitals. Dr. Jindani provides primary eye care optometry in Brantford seeing a wide range of patients from infants to seniors. She is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario. Dr. Jindani works closely with a paediatric ophthalmologist from McMaster University, providing eye care to children, indigenous populations and performing research in all areas of paediatric eye care. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, son and daughter. 

Dr. Jonah Moore

Optometrist

Dr. Jonah Moore was born and raised in Brantford, ON, and now resides in Cambridge. He studied at the University of Waterloo, graduating with a degree in Honours Science in 2018, and as a Doctor of Optometry in 2022.

During his studies, Dr. Moore completed an ocular disease externship, working closely with an eye surgeon, where he received extensive training in the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of ocular diseases, including: glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration, as well as post-operative care for refractive surgeries.

Dr. Moore is committed to providing excellent care to all his patients, and also has a special interest in contact lenses, having received the Robert B Mandell Clinical Excellence Award for contact lenses.

Outside the office, Jonah enjoys spending time with his wife, visiting local restaurants, baking, as well as supporting activities of the Christadelphian church.
